WALL ROCKET Description. This does not rise to the height of any of the others, but beats its flowers upon the otps of the stalks, which are naked of leaves all the way up. These are strait and tough to the touch, of a pale green. The leavesgrow near the root in a tuft, and spread themselves every way round the stalk; they are long and divided in the pinnated form, and are of a light green. The flowers are small and yellow, and the seed grows in a long pointed pod. Place. This is frequent on old walls, and among rubbish, but the former is very rarely found. Some growsin Anglesey, and Walney Island in Cumberland. Time. They flower in July. |
