HAIRY WILLOW-HERB

Description. This is a much smaller plant, but it ahs all the signature of the species. The leaves are fully notched at the edges, and of a deep green. The stalks are round, firm, upright, and two feet and a half high.The flowers are placed at the tops of the branches, and are large, and of a beautiful bright red.

Place. It is an inhabitant of our damp meadows.

Time. It flowers in July.
